Though I don't know if the Japanese do that eat the top layer of the wedding cake on the one year anniversary thing, but for the sake of this they do...
I just can't see Ranma waiting, he'd be digging into it the night they got married... and I don't see Akane taking it well... so...

Ranma: there were just too many possibilities for me to pick one line of dialouge for him so I'm open to suggestions for Ranma...
